How to convert PDF file

Extract images from a PDF file with Solid Converter PDF.

PDF is short for Portable Document Format. PDF is the standard file extension for document files created with Adobe Acrobat software. A PDF file can describe documents containing any combination of text, graphics, and images in a device independent and resolution independent format. To view and use the PDF files, you need the free Acrobat Reader, which you can easily download. Once you've downloaded the Reader, it will start automatically whenever you want to look at a PDF file.

If you hope your PDF files can be indexed by many simple search engines, you need the PDF converter which can convert PDF to HTML. If you want to easily edit your PDF files, you can convert PDF to Doc or Text. If there are the beautiful images which interest you in the PDF files, you can convert PDF to image.

In lower right corner, you could find many guides about how to convert PDF file, such as Convert PDF to HTML, Convert PDF to Doc, Convert PDF to TIFF, Convert PDT to JPG, etc. The following is to tell you how to extract images from a PDF file with Solid Converter PDF. And you have the option of saving them as a file in the original format or as a different graphics type. The graphics will be saved in a separate folder with the same name as the original file.

Step.1 Download Solid Converter PDF here and install it.

Step.2 Open Solid Converter PDF, and in the Solid Converter PDF window, browse to the folder containing the PDF file(s) you want to extract images from. Select one or more source files (you can hold down the CTRL key to select multiple files), then click the down arrow next to the "Convert" icon and select "Extract Images Using Wizard".

Step.3 Select your Image Format (Same as original, BMP, JPG, PNG, or TIF). Next, click the button "Browse" to choose the folder where you want the files to be saved. (If you do not choose a path, the new files will be saved in a subfolder under the original.) Click the button "Next" to continue.
Tip: To skip individual steps and go directly to the conversion, you can click the "Last" button at any point in the wizard.

Step.4 Select the box "All" to convert all pages in the document or "Pages" to specify a range of pages to convert. If you select "Pages", boxes will display that allow you to enter a page range. Click the button "Next" to continue.

Step.5 Your conversion options are displayed. Click the button "Previous" if you want to change any of the settings. If the settings are correct, click "Finish". A message will display that will notify you when the conversion is finished.

Note: If you are converting multiple documents and have chosen to have the documents open after conversion, you may need to return to the program after each document is converted to walk through the wizard again. You can do this by clicking the Solid Converter PDF button on your Windows taskbar (bottom of screen).
