Active Backup Expert is an easy to use computer backup software.
It serves two main goals:
creates protected copy (backup) of your files. To store the backup you can use any drive in your system: hard disk, network, CD-RW, CD-R, Jaz, Zip, floppy etc. as well as an FTP remote storage;
helps to synchronize files on two (or more) Computers backup.

Active Backup Expert is exactly use for:
- store your files in compact format;
- make backup copies of your files in order to protect them;
- take some files with you wherever you go;
- record a state of your work and to restore this state later;
Stores backups in the standard
ZIP format, so in addition to ABE you can use any ZIP compression
tool to operate with Active Backup Expert-made backup files.
Supports inclusion and exclusion
of files by wildcard mask as well as by exact file name. So new
files, matching an entered mask, will be included to or excluded
from a new backups without any care.
Within Active Backup Expert
you can store as many backup versions as you wish and You can browse
files stored in any backup, view them and even open them with a
default system editor.
Using command line arguments
you can order ABE to create or restore a backup without any interaction
with you. It lets to use ABE in any automation utility to make scheduled
backups. Please, take a look to our Active Task Manager automation
utility, if you don't have one.
Supports an ActiveX Automation,
so you can control it within your own application and scheduling
the backup creation using the Active Task Manager and MS Task Scheduler.
Exporting and Importing backups
by FTP; sending a backup by e-mail; filtering files by size and
attributes; strong blowfish encryption of backups; sending an e-mail
notification with a backup creation details; sending backups by
FTP directly on creation and setting the CPU Affinity Mask for the
backup thread.
Creating a Comments History
by grabbing comments from all made backups; New Project wizard;
possibility to cleanup a removable media before exporting to it;
